Cabinet LAWRENCE – "Private Buyer" offer – Version 2.0 – Last updated on 20/07/2026
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (the "T&Cs") govern exclusively the "Private Buyer" service offered by Cabinet LAWRENCE to individuals acting as consumers within the meaning of the introductory article of the French Consumer Code, as part of the online ordering journey "E.R.I.C." (Entry, Relations, Information & Confidentiality) available on cabinet-lawrence.com.
Any order implies full, complete and unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs, in the version in force on the day of the order. The Customer acknowledges having read them before validating their order, by ticking the box provided for that purpose.
The Service is provided by Cabinet LAWRENCE (SASU Cabinet Conseil LAWRENCE), reachable at contact@cabinet-lawrence.com. All of the provider's legal information (registered office, RCS, intra-community VAT number) appears in the Legal Notice, which is the reference source.
Cabinet LAWRENCE offers individuals confidential support in a real-estate acquisition project (the "Private Buyer" offer).
The Mission opening is the paid Service that is the object of these T&Cs. Through it, the Customer asks Cabinet LAWRENCE to open their file and act in their name and in their interests: the firm applies its expertise and diligence to intercede with agencies, sellers and intermediaries, to search for and qualify properties, and to support the Customer, where applicable preserving their commercial anonymity vis-à-vis professionals.
The Mission opening is subject to an obligation of means (article 13); it does not guarantee a specific result (for example the completion of an acquisition). It is not a deposit and may, where applicable, lead to a separate additional mission, which would be the subject of a separate quote and contract, without the Mission opening prejudging the acceptance of such a mission by Cabinet LAWRENCE.
At the time of their Order, the Customer may add, as an option, a private appointment: an individual meeting of approximately 30 minutes with a dedicated Cabinet LAWRENCE expert. This option is optional and is subject to an additional price (article 6). When it is purchased, the Customer books their time slot after their payment, via the link sent by email (article 8).
The Order is placed online via the E.R.I.C. journey:
The contract is definitively formed at the time the payment is actually collected, confirmed automatically by the payment provider. A summary email is sent to the Customer at the address provided; when a private appointment has been purchased, this email contains the link to book the slot. The Customer ensures the accuracy of their email address and checks their "junk" / "promotions" folders.
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes (incl. VAT), including applicable French VAT.
The price of the Mission opening (the Right) is €240 incl. VAT. On a promotional basis, a reduced rate of €199 incl. VAT may apply when payment is made within a short time (10 minutes) after the file is opened. Eligibility for the promotional rate and the price actually charged are determined automatically and tamper-proof by Cabinet LAWRENCE's systems at the time of payment.
The Private appointment option, when purchased, is added to the price of the Right for a fixed amount of €240 incl. VAT (not covered by the promotional rate).
The Customer thus pays, in a single payment: either the Right alone (€199 or €240 incl. VAT), or the Right plus the option (€199 or €240 incl. VAT + €240 incl. VAT). The details and total amount applied to the Order appear on the payment page and on the summary sent to the Customer, which prevail.
Payment is made online, via the secure payment solution Stripe. Cabinet LAWRENCE never has access to the Customer's full bank-card data, which is processed exclusively by Stripe in an environment compliant with the security standards in force (PCI-DSS).
The Order is only taken into account after confirmation that the payment has been collected. Only payment methods with immediate confirmation are accepted.
When the Customer has purchased the Private appointment option, they book their slot after their payment, via the online scheduling link sent in the confirmation email. Confirmation of the slot is then sent by email.
The Customer may request to reschedule their appointment, subject to Cabinet LAWRENCE's availability, using the links in the confirmation email. If the Customer fails to attend, without excuse, the booked and non-rescheduled appointment, the appointment service is deemed performed (see article 10).
As this is a distance contract, the Customer in principle benefits, pursuant to article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, from a period of fourteen (14) days from the conclusion of the contract (day of payment) to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons.
Waiver of the right of withdrawal through immediate performance.
The Mission opening has as its object the immediate handling of the Customer: from payment, Cabinet LAWRENCE opens the file and begins to act in their name and in their interests. By accepting these T&Cs via the dedicated box of the ordering journey, the Customer:
Consequently, the Mission opening Service, the performance of which begins upon payment at the Customer's express request, does not give rise to a refund once its performance has begun (see article 10). If the Customer withdraws after having requested immediate performance but before full performance, they remain liable, pursuant to article L221-25, for the amount corresponding to the service already provided.
For any request relating to this right, the Customer notifies their decision by an unambiguous statement sent to contact@cabinet-lawrence.com, stating their file number. They may use the model form below, without this being mandatory.
Performance of the Mission opening begins as soon as the payment is collected. Cabinet LAWRENCE acts within reasonable timeframes, having regard to the nature of the project and market availability. When a private appointment has been purchased, it is held on the date agreed at booking (article 8).
The Customer undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information during their E.R.I.C. journey. When they enter the contact details of third parties (for example "trusted persons"), the Customer warrants that they are authorised to communicate them and undertakes to inform those persons of the processing of their data by Cabinet LAWRENCE, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Cabinet LAWRENCE is bound by a reinforced obligation of means in the performance of its Service. It applies its expertise and diligence, without guaranteeing a specific result (for example the completion of an acquisition project).
Cabinet LAWRENCE acts exclusively as a provider of advice, intercession and support. It is neither a real-estate agent, nor a notary, nor a lawyer, and is not therefore subject to the regulations specific to those professions. Its Service constitutes neither a legal act, nor a notarial act, nor a real-estate transaction within the meaning of the Hoguet Act.
Cabinet LAWRENCE cannot be held liable for non-performance or poor performance attributable to the Customer (erroneous information, absence at the appointment), to a third party, or to a case of force majeure. In any event, Cabinet LAWRENCE's liability in respect of an Order is limited to the amount actually paid by the Customer for that Order.
Personal data collected as part of the E.R.I.C. journey is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which describes the purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods and the Customer's rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, restriction, complaint to the CNIL).
Any complaint may be sent to Cabinet LAWRENCE at contact@cabinet-lawrence.com. Cabinet LAWRENCE endeavours to respond as quickly as possible.
In accordance with articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer Customer has the right to use, free of charge, a consumer mediator with a view to the amicable resolution of a dispute, after having tried to resolve it directly with Cabinet LAWRENCE.
The Customer may use the European online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These T&Cs are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance is brought before the competent courts. As Cabinet LAWRENCE has its registered office in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), the Nanterre Judicial Court has jurisdiction. However, in accordance with article R631-3 of the French Consumer Code, the consumer Customer may also bring the matter, at their choice, before one of the courts territorially competent under the Code of Civil Procedure, or before the court of the place where they resided at the time the contract was concluded or the harmful event occurred.
Cabinet LAWRENCE may amend these T&Cs at any time. The version applicable to an Order is the one in force on the day of that Order; it is retained as evidence when the Order is validated (time-stamped version). This version is Version 2.0.
